Seeking Additional Space: Initiate discussions with the chief of Akatakyiwa to secure beach space for relocating the canoe makers.
Community Engagement: Engage with the chief of Moree and leaders of Fisher folks to explore collaborative solutions.
Budget Allocation: Determine a viable budget to facilitate the aforementioned initiatives.
3. Road Improvement Plans.
Addressing Road Issues: Identify road reconstruction plans post-relocation of canoe makers, addressing concerns about the adverse impact of heavy trucks.
Financial Contributions: Discuss and establish a structured monthly contribution system to fund the road improvement project.
Dust Reduction Measures: Explore viable measures to minimize dust intrusion into our homes during road improvements.

5. Curbing sand-winning activities
Creating a Forum for Coastal Protection:
Establishing a forum to discuss and mitigate the risk of beach erosion, particularly concerning sand-winning activities and potential sea-level rise.
6. Sea Defence
Engaging the right institutions for Coastal Defense:
Initiating discussions with an institution to advocate for our neighbourhood’s inclusion in the sea defence project.
7. Addressing Charcoal Emissions:
Tackling the issue of excessive smoke emissions caused by charcoal producers within our vicinity.
8. Encouraging Community Responsibility:
Formulating strategies to engage students, artisans, and canoe makers in efforts to curb littering within our community.

Community Roadwork Agenda
Thursday, April 11th:
- Early Morning: Begin grading work from Hospital Junction to Paradise Hotel Junction. The focus will be on removing all potholes and ramps in the area.
- Deliveries: 60 cubic meters of Boulders will be delivered at the entrance of the tunnel on Hospital Road.
- Safety Measures: The Roller Compactor will be parked in front of the tunnel to create a safety zone for the workers arranging the stones.
Friday, April 12th:
- Continue arranging the boulders and compact the stones to the ground.
Saturday, April 13th:
- Pour water on boulders and the ground to prepare for casting.
- Cast 5 inches of concrete on the boulders to create a solid surface designed to last.
Contingency Plan:
- In case of delays due to rain, queues at the quarry, lateness of workers, or machine faults, work will continue into Monday, April 15th.
